The blonde star, who is famous for her self-empowering messages, recently won her Golden Globes 2016 trophy, not for her singing abilities but her acting. Surprised? She won the best actress award in the limited series/TV movie category for FX’s ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’. On the awards night, she looked her lovely vintage best with her Marilyn Monroe haircut and the black velvet, figure-accentuating, corseted and padded, Atelier Versace gown, selected by her stylist of seven years, Brandon Maxwell. In the past also, Lady Gaga has often been spotted in custom creations by Atelier Versace. She looked every inch poised and elegant in her old school look. With manicured hands and her makeup understated with her bold yet natural-looking brows, subtle pink lipstick and elegant smokey eye make-up to define her features, she looked every inch a star that is all ready to take on Hollywood.
Gaga, who was born Stefani Germanotta, confessed that “she wanted to be an actress before a singer, but music worked out first”. While on stage, the singer/actress managed to thank her family, cast and specially the ‘wonderful human being’ and AHS creator, Ryan Murphy, but clearly forgot her fiancé Taylor Kinney. Lady Gaga, who has been open about her sexuality, had in the past confessed that she has taken “a few dips in the lady pond”. She also previously revealed that her hit single ‘Poker Face’ is about her bisexual identity.
