It’s very common to see famous celeb children clad in designer wear, especially the ones that are endorsed by their famous parents. Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West is regularly seen attending her ballet class in a custom Balmain tutu and blazer. This doesn’t surprise us given the fact that with Kim working regularly as a brand ambassador for the French fashion house, it is but natural that she would turn to designer Olivier Rousteing to design baby clothes for her daughter. Similarly, Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes’s daughter Suri Cruise is well known for her style and is often featured in magazines.
The most famous British fashion brand, Burberry, had signed designer Victoria Beckham’s (and the hottest looking sports star David Beckham’s) son Romeo Beckham for the brand’s ‘summer campaign’ back in 2013 and then again in 2015 for the brand’s Christmas campaign. Romeo led an all-British cast of actors, musicians and models in the quintessentially British festive ad campaign. The line-up featured other stars like Michelle Dockery, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Naomi Campbell, Sir Elton John, James Corden, Julie Walters, Naomi Campbell, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, James Bay, George Ezra and Toby Huntington-Whiteley.
The latest star kid in the news, the 17-year-old Jaden Smith, son of American actor Will Smith, is to be the new face of Louis Vuitton clothes, the famous French fashion house popular for its monogrammed bags. Jaden has not been signed for the men’s wear but instead for the women’s wear section. In the past also Jaden has been in the news for his bold fashion style and had been regularly spotted wearing clothes usually associated with the opposite sex. Back in 2015 he was seen dressed in a midi-length white skirt under a long black tunic and a loose black blazer, which he topped off with black pants, sneakers, and fingerless white gloves, while attending prom with actress Amandla Stenberg (aka Rue from The Hunger Games).
It seems to be a smart move from the fashion house which is usually known for its classic lines limited to bags and accessories. Having Jaden Smith for their gender-neutral fashion is a good move to promote their brand as gender friendly and let the people know that they are more than just the leather goods company.
