Lakme Fashion Week every year and every season carries out some unbelievable fashion experiments by the designers. A place where the young models can show up their talents alongside the older ones can become more fluent in their works. The LFW 2020 has quite begun the new decade with a pomp and show. The Launchpad of LFW was hosted by the INFID where the students were allowed a direct entry to the show to show case their designs by getting selected by the jury. This huge opportunity for the students had made a presentation of the rising talent that was appreciated by the jury as well as the other established fashion celebrities present there. This part of the show was really promising and was somewhat a glimpse of the future generation of fashion. The designs had a certain kind of freshness with textures and colors that made the sheer shirts, tunics and trousers look vibrant as well as relaxing on the very ramp. The designers undoubtedly have a great outlook towards the new Indian fashion.

After the beginners, it was time for the most experienced and famous designers to portray their ideas and styles through their very designs. Amit Agarwal, one of the most famous designers of India had showcased his amazing designs in the Finale of the Lakme Fashion week where none other than the Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor was the showstopper. The diva was seen in a gorgeous green emerald shiny gown that had made everyone aw struck. Walking for the first time for Amit Agarwal, Kareena had proved her beauty and professionalism one more time in front of the wide audience.
Sharp ensembles with intricate patterns of green, red, berry, silver and many other colors had made his designs show up bright and beautiful on the ramp.

As more attention is being paid on the new age sustainable fashion, KunalRawal had portrayed his designs this time choosing the outdoors over the fashion mainstream indoor walk where none other than the heartthrob Vicky Kaushal was the showstopper. The collection including a very comfortable range of subtle colors yet vibrancy that created a magic on the ramp. Shirts, coats, trousers and many more designed beautiful in the most excellently crafted works, the designer had set the benchmark too high. ()

The summer resort 2020 LFW was able to portray and express the not only western side of the fashion but also the ethnic side. The Indian culture kept intact with a little twist of fashion innovation, Gaurang Shah was one of the designers to portray such kinds of outfits that without any doubt touched the hearts of the audience including the celebs and the other designers and critics. Tabu, one of the fine actors of Bollywood was seen to walk for the designer as the showstopper in a beautiful south Indian Kanjeevaram Lehenga that grabbed all the attention. As everyone is very much aware of the designs created by Gaurang Shah, the collection in LFW was one such portrayal of art pieces that began from the beautifully designed PatanPatoladupatta, Saree and what not!

Famous designers like Ritu Kumar, Gauri and Nanika and many more were a part of the beautiful fashion week that had made fashion more than anything just to wear. Ritu Kumar’s collection just as usual was one of the most appreciated and looked forward to where she had designed every item with the most sustainable materials supporting the sustainable fashion. Paying attention to the textile style of creation , the collection was presented in the ramp where Aditi Rao Hydari was the showstopper who walked in a beautiful blue dress. Gauri and Nanika, the finale designers of the LFW were someone to really talk about whose designs had made the whole fashion industry a fan of theirs. Their collection in the LFW 2020 was one of the most noticeable ones with ruffles, edges, sharp necklines and vibrant colors. The strength of fashion could be told to have beautifully been portrayed by none other than the designers Gauri and Nanika.

Designers like Rajdeep Ranawat, Kanika Goyal, Sanjukta Dutta and many others were a part of the beautiful thoroughfare along with famous celebrities as the showstopper and participants like Karan and Bipasha Basu, Malaika Arora, Janvi Kapoor etc. the LFW 2020 has been a great start to the new decade’s fashion journey!
