A great rejuvenator and wheat grass an elixir loaded with medicinal values. It’s a good detoxifier for the body and the regulatory system. Fresh pineapple based drink along with wheatgrass which is not just a humble weed but is a powerhouse of nutrients and vitamins for the human body. In the form of fresh juice, it has high concentrations of chlorophyll, active enzymes, vitamins and other nutrients. In fact, one ounce of wheatgrass juice is equivalent in food value to two and a half pounds of green leafy vegetables (watch video on how to grow wheat grass at home).
Although the wonder benefits of wheatgrass are being discovered only now in India, they have been known in the West for years. So let’s get you the recipe of mix of wheat grass and pineapples for a lip smacking summer drink.
FIRDAUSI TASEER
Here’s a healthy recipe for summers for those who love to feel fresh and healthy. A nourishing, palatable & full of value drink:
Serves: : 4 persons
Time taken : 10 minutes
Ingredients
1. Wheat jawara 500 gms. (Wheat put in pot and this grows to leaves in 4/5 days is called jawara)
2. Few rose leaves
3. 5O ML of lemon juice
4. 4 spoon of honey
5. 2 spoon of aloevera gel – optional
6. 10 leaves of curry leaves
7. 10 tulsi (basil) leaves
8. 10 phudina (mint) leaves
9. 500 ml Fresh pineapple juice
10. Lots of crushed ice if you want chilled.
11. ROCK SALT, SUGAR – TO TASTE.
Method
Mix all ingredients in the mixer and filter it. Fill the glass and top it with a pinch of SEASONING.
