Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Paris 2016 !

It is that time of the year when angels land on Earth. In case you are confused with where am I going, well you need not worry! I am talking about the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Paris 2016 guys!!!

The luxury lingerie brand commenced its runaway journey in 1995. There has since been no looking back for the brand. Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid who debuted last year continue to remain VS Angels. They both looked stunning in their angel wings. This year Gigi’s baby sister Bella Hadid joined the tribe and it was a historic moment where both the Hadid Sisters shared the VS runway space. The Hadid sisters took to their Instagram accounts to keep us updated about their behind the stage candid moments as well their exhilaration in walking together for Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Paris, 2016.

However critics were not happy with the choice of Bella Hadid. Given the pictures on circulation, her walk looked amateur and her appeal was lacklustre for the high-voltage VS Fashion Show. To make matter all the more awkward, her former boyfriend, The Weekend, performed during her walk and despite her earlier claim that she is looking forward to it, the 20-year old Hadid sibling seemed perplexed! VS loyalists also panned Kendall Jenner’s appearance touting that she was the oddball among the constellation of VS Angels who have shone brightly over the years!

Apart from the Hadids and Jenner the veterans from Victoria Secrets were also part of the runaway. The gorgeous Brazilian beauty Adriana Lima who has served as a VS angel for a long time alongside Alessandra Ambrosio (both are my personal favourites), Lily Aldridge, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Jasmine Tooks, Elsa Hosk, Taylor Hill and Stella Maxwell (She was voted No 1 in Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 list).This year’s Victoria Secret’s Fashion Show was opened by Swedish model Elsa Hosk who grew emotional and instagrammed, “Feel so humbled and emotional. What an honour to lead the most incredible show on the planet…”

This year Jasmike Tookes was the chosen one to strut in the Fantasy Bra. She defined pulchritude in the Bright Night Fantasy Bra that comprised of 9000 gemstones, 450 carats and is worth 2.4 million pounds. However, it is Gisele Bundchen who holds the record of wearing the most expensive fantasy bra worth of 12 million pounds at the VS Fashion Show 2000 – the Red Hot Fantasy Bra which is considered to be the most expensive lingerie made till date!

Proud mother Yolanda Hadid occupied the front seat and was showered with flying kisses from her daughters. Lady Gaga, Pop star Bruno Mars and The Weekend performed at this years’s Victoria Secret’s Fashion show chapter. Other cities where the VS Fashion show has taken place are New York, LA, Miami, London and Cannes.
