Normally, one sees beautiful pictures of the homes that have been completed, but this story is about the ugly duckling that became a swan!
This hillside house in Malavli was built on a steep slope more than 30 years ago and was in desperate need of a facelift. We came in and used a whole bunch of Bharat Tiles to transform the space while still maintaining the heritage floor tiles in the living room and the amazing stone walls.
The master bedroom has a solid wood four poster bed and the guest bedroom has a four poster made from PU coated MS. The outside area was given a beautiful new set of dining furniture made of solid teak, as well as an all-weather sofa set.
The house can now be rented on Saffron stays and has gone from being a millstone around the owner’s neck to being an asset.
