To top it all, imagine a mango lassi sorbet set into kiwi fruit casings! You heard that right. This exotic sweet dish has got all the best of summer served in one plate. Doesn’t that sound truly delectable? A real summer treat, here is the recipe for “Mango Lassi Sorbet set firm into casings of exotic kiwi fruits served with lip smacking fruity reductions”.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup peeled and chopped mango
3/4 cup low-fat yogurt
3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup ice cubed
9 to 10 ice cubes
3 kiwi fruit – firm and ripe
Method:
1) Purée the mango with the yogurt and sugar in a blender. Add the milk, lemon juice, and ice. Blend until smooth. Add 1/3 cup cold water and the ice and blend to the desired consistency. Pour into tubs and freeze.
2) For the Kiwi casings, halve the kiwis, peel and scoop out the pulp. Spoon out the frozen mango lassi sorbet and fill into the kiwi casings. Garnish with chocolate arcs/mint sprigs and carefully place on the pre marbled plate with accompanied fruity reductions.
