Glam! Glam! Glam! Can we have enough of that? Off course not and maybe that’s why the fashion industry keeps on setting goals and entertaining the fans all the time. After all the glamorous fashion events here comes the Lakme Fashion Week 2019! The most awaited and everyone’s favourite. The fashion event with all the eyes on it starting from celebrities to great designers and off course the fans. Held from August 21 to 25, the event has put forward the fashion culture of India in a modernised and beautiful version. Many celebrities were seen participating in it and as always they rocked the show. Designers from all over India had put forward their designs in such stunning manner that it has found its place in most of the famous fashion magazines and newspapers. Lakme had once also put up a fashion week earlier this year but guess what the recent show has been even more awesome and has been appreciated by a huge number of audiences.

Talking all about style, the lakme fashion week winter began with a great pomp and show extending for five days. Debuting with their designs, many designers were seen to present their designs for the first time during the first days of the event. Quite modernised in their own way, the designers have portrayed their designs in such a glamorous way that even the most experienced ones also appreciated their works. The designer of the brand AVARAN, Alka Sharma presented her collection named “Miniature Moon” which consisted of block printed and hand dyed clothing that for sure dragged everyone’s attention. Actress Mrunal Thakur walked the ramp in gorgeous Avaran clothing.

The initiative of sustainable designs by one of the ministers was a big step taken up by one of the ministers that brought a few brands together to sign up a charter. Other than that there were the great designs put up by some famous Insian designers. Taking about famous designers, how can one forget the most talented Manish Malhotra. Like every time, he has set the standards of fashion too high for anyone to achieve. Manish Malhotra presented his design collection named “‘Maahrumysha” that was mainly based on ethnic apparels with modern touch of designs in it. Katrina Kaif looked amazingly gorgeous in a black lehenga designed by him. There were also other celebrities wearing his clothes on the ramp which made it a jaw dropping moment for everyone.

Designing from new-age sustainable synthetics, designers AmitAgarwal and Abraham & Thakoreportrayed there ideasin the form of beautiful clothing that literally made everyone appreciate the designs. Celebrities like Lisa Haydon and HardikPandya walked for the designers on the ramp in stunning wine red violet gown and coat respectively. Actress UrvashiRautella was seen in a beautiful silver gown designed by the designer Masumi Mewawalla. Walking for designer KavitaAgarwal, actress Soha Ali Khan really looked like a Nawab Princess with embellished golden and green lehenga- choli. The new celebrity mother EshaDeol who walked the ramp with her two years old daughter set some serious goals.

The debutant actors of this generation have also not been lacking behind as some of them have walked for some well-known designers in the fashion week. Starting from the ‘Student of The Year’ actress, Ananya Pandey who looked marvelous as she walked on the ramp in Arpita Mehta couture where she wore a pretty ornate lehenga representing the colourful collection of the designer. Her other walks were also viral where she looked amazing in the Anushree Reddy clothing. Her golden lehenga look received most of the like in real life as well as in the social media. Newbies like Tara Sutaria and Rhea Chakroborty were also seen walking the ramp with extreme and unbelievable grace.
ShibaniDandekar was seen twice as the showstopper, one for Bandana Narula and other one for PayalSingal. In the later one, she was seen walking the ramp with boyfriend Farhan Akhtar. Both of them rocked the floral outfits and it is one of our favourite walks of the show where love and fashion came together to enhance the beauty of the fashion industry.

Many famous and well-known actresses of the B-town have flaunted their aura in designer clothes so well that they have made us their bigger fans. Actresses like Kangana Ranaut who walked in a gorgeous sky blue lehenga for DishaPatil, ShilpaShetty for PunitBalana in a in an ankle length lehenga and many more stole the show. The hot diva burned the ramp with her beauty and attitude when she walked for the designer Diyarajvir in a sizzling and stunning red wine gown with butterfly sleeves blouse. It’s not only the female actors who have shown magic on the ramp but representing exclusive menswear designers, Arjun Kapoor, AyushmanKhurrana and many other actors had also set the stage on fire with their charm and off course handsome looks.
The Lakme Fashion Week Winter 2019 has been a great and amazing show since the beginning of this year and like always it has set the standards so high for stylke and fashion. The cooperation of the film industry and its merging with the fashion industry is something that always works and so it has this time too made everything look and happen great and grand.
