Now what better way to impress your dear one than by making a surprise delectable sweet treat? Yes nothing can beat it. So Chef Aman Tandon of Pride Hotels, Pune, brings us a unique and beautiful recipe for the perfect valentine’s day treat. Imagine sinking your teeth into delicate chocolate shells as a fruity cream oozes out. Oceans of Fantasy is exactly that. It is an array of dark and white chocolate mosaic, marbled into crunchy Dutch Tulips with an assortment of exotic fruit n cream fills.
Method:
Blow some round bottom balloons similar in the shape to an orange and keep aside.
Melt dark chocolate in a double boiler to a liquid consistency and cool it to luke warm temperature.
One by one dip the balloons slightly slanted and over lapping motion for the texture to form the tulip shape petals – keep it on a butter paper lined tray. Cool it for 15 mints till the chocolate is set hard.
With a pin puncture these balloons for the air to escape. Remove the balloons and fill each tulip with a choice of fruits and exotic flavored filling which may be a variety of any soufflé, mousse, fousse, flavored creams, fruit compotes or simply candies to dry fruits and custards.
Get dipping right away so that you can have these cute treats ready before the valentine’s day rolls by. The chocolate cups can be made in advance and store carefully in the refrigerator until you finish preparing the cream or fruit filling.
