Montegrappa, Italy’s most revered manufacturer of fine writing instruments will display the prototype of the Ultimate Centennial Dragon one million dollar pen at ‘The Luxury Festival’ to be held in New Delhi from April 1st to April 3rd, 2016. The Centennial Dragon limited edition has been created to commemorate Montegrappa’s 100th Anniversary. The one-of-its kind bejeweled Centennial Dragon series is limited to 100 units only – 33 units in rose gold, 33 in yellow gold, 33 in white gold and one unique piece called the Ultimate Centennial Dragon.
The design of the pen draws inspiration from the Nine Dragon Wall at the Forbidden City in Beijing. The dragon has since ancient times been a symbol of power and prosperity in China, and the wall at this historical palace was built in 1773 during the reign of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Montegrappa’s Ultimate Centennial Dragon pen is made of 300 gm of solid gold, studded with flawless diamonds, rubies and a pearl.
The buyer of the Ultimate Centennial Dragon will be offered a VIP factory tour by a member of the Aquila family to view the manufacturing of the pen followed by lunch or dinner with members of the board including F1 racing driver, Jean Alesi.
