- Quality vintage pieces typically sit low and have tons of character – a perfect partner for modern.
- Pair a farmhouse or round pedestal dining room table with contemporary chairs covered in bold, modern fabrics. Accessorize with old glass bear bottles, vases, or even a collection of ornate vintage ash trays filled with candies.
Vessels to ornate items, brass can cover a whole range of paraphernalia. A simple brass doorbell knocker can be found in many homes. Just like any other metal, brass can accumulate dirt and grease deposits, and may also tarnish over time. To restore the shine of the object one needs to take care of it every now and then.
